家族限定特約とは保険料を安くする為によく使われる特約です。
しかしながら結構危険が伴います。
特に自動車保険を通販で買っている方！！
この特約は
家族以外の者が運転をしている間に生じた事故による損害については
保険金は支払われません。
それでは対象者は誰か？
①記名被保険者（契約のケースが多いです）
②記名被保険者の配偶者
③①と②の同居の親族
④①と②の別居の未婚の子
です。
問題
記名被保険者が父親である自動車保険に家族限定特約が付いています。
そして別居の息子（離婚経験あり）が居るとしましょう。
息子が実家の父親の車を運転して、事故を起こしました。
これは支払対象になるか？
答えは
支払われません。
この息子は結婚経験があるので
「別居の未婚の子」にはならないのです。
「別居の既婚の子」になります。
離婚率がかなり高い今の世の中こんなケースはたくさんあるので気を付けよう。ちになみに最近家族限定の被保険者の対象が保険種によってことなることがあるので、保険会社まは代理店にご確認ください。
